About Me
I'm Zee (they/them), also known as Shirukagiri. I am a Dutch vocal synth enthusiast, amateur producer and UTAU creator. This website is a place where I gather links to my social media, and upload files in an organized manner for you to view and/or download!
I play a mouthful of instruments, and I'm always looking to improve.
Kazoo professional, recorder "professional", guitar talent wanter, voice specialist, piano ploinger, otamatone sound maker, plastic sliding whistle to be annoyinger, harmonica player, cajon player, there's probably stuff I'm forgetting.
But of course, I am a vocal synth lover. I love all vocal synths. All of them. And I will use them all. Vocal synths! Gotta use them all... it's you or me. I know it's my destiny, vocal synths! I'm trying very hard to be professional which is ruining the joke. I apologize.
Software
I work with computers to make my silly little music a lot, so obviously I use a lot of software. I also use hardware. But the software is what you're here for.
So, I've compiled a neat little list here for all you software freaks.
Audio
I mix and master in Reaper. For mixing vocals, I mainly use FabFilter's VSTs.
For VSTi's I can highly recommend Spitfire's LABS, they're great and high-quality while being (mostly) free!
I record my UTAUs in oremo or Audacity, whichever one I'm feeling more like dealing with that day.
I use OpenUTAU and I love it. If you're just starting out with UTAU and you're not sure what to use, go for OpenUTAU - it's very intuitive.
Video
I use Adobe After Effects for video editing.
I use Clip Studio Paint to draw the assets used in my videos.
Okay, a little hardware maybe
The microphone I used is a Razer Seiren Mini, but recently I've switched to a Behringer SB 78A + M-Audio M-Track Duo.
The drawing tablet I use is a Wacom Intuos M.
My guitar is a Squier Stratocaster.
The digital piano I use is a Roland F-130R.
